Palmetto Childproofing Inc is owned and operated by Kim and Mike Bost. In 2000, they founded Baby Home Safety, a successful childproofing company in San Diego, and ran the business until 2006, when they relocated back to the Charlotte area. During that time, they childproofed nearly two thousand homes.

Now, with Palmetto Childproofing Inc, Kim and Mike offer their child safety experience and expertise to the families of Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Kim is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina with a degree in physical therapy. Her extensive knowledge of motor development in children and her experience as a mother give her a valuable perspective on babyproofing homes. Kim's business philosophy is service oriented so you can feel confident that she will work with you to develop the most sensible plan to protect your baby not only at his or her current developmental stage, but also as your child reaches new milestones and abilities. She enjoys yoga, volunteering in the classroom, and playing games with her children.

Mike is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in English. He is a former naval officer, licensed contractor, and teacher who has taught both middle school and high school English. Mike's instinctive understanding of children and deep commitment to their safety make him a natural babyproofer. He enjoys spending time with his kids, kite flying, and intellectual pursuits in science, history, and philosophy.
